Happy New Season!
It’s time to renew your membership! Memberships begin April 1, 2022 and go through March 31, 2023. Click here to download the membership form, or stop by the bulletin board outside the Pro Shop.
Kurt has hired a new head pro to help Kurt and Bob with both the junior and adult summer’s tennis programs. Roger Pastore is a USPTA teaching professional from Louisiana, and is now living here and will be available in a few weeks for private lessons.
We’re happy for Sid, who has finally decided to retire, and will not be returning to the Pro Shop. He is planning on being here for several weeks during the summer, but is enjoying his time in Tucson.
To that end, we are looking to replace Sid in the Pro Shop with full or part time help. I would like to find a tennis player who is familiar with or membership and the sport. If you know of anyone who might be a good candidate, please let Kurt know at 575-770-0333 or Nanette at 575-776-2585.
Our pool has been upgraded with new pumps, filter, and heater system, and will hopefully be ready before Memorial Day.
Two courts are scheduled to be re-built in May, and we added a backboard on court 9 for those that need more practice. Our ball machines have been upgraded and serviced.
Our Pro Shop should be opening late April or early May, depending on the weather. Inventory will be limited this season.
We are looking forward to a great season!
